摘要

In Norway we have a collective system based on a legislation that gives producers and importers the responsibility for all take-back of WEEE. They have formed 3 non-profit waste management companies which have contracts with transporters and dismantlers and by an agreement with the Env. Dept in Norway they have promised to collect and recycle 80% of all WEEE by 01.07.2004. After over 3 years of treating WEEE, we have build up our knowledge on different types, contents and treatment on all waste electric and electronic products. We receive more than 70 different main categories of products, and sell out appxm 35 fractions after dismantling. Our workers are not influenced in any way by the content of hazardous waste in the different components and tests shows that pollution to air and water from treating scrap (esp. shredder) is a lot lower than before the legislation was put into force.
