As you have read, there is no magic wand that an FIBC user or manufacturer can wave to solve flow problems relative to dry bulk solids. Also as you have read, there are many variables that can affect the total discharge performance of FIBC's. The good new is that the technology exists today to handle most problems which occur relative to discharge of products from FIBC's. Product flow issues can generally be resolved if all involved parties will address the issue with an open mind, specific goals, and a willingness to put the common good and process improvement ahead of individual self interest. It requires that everyone involved in all aspects of manufacturing, selling, filling, transporting and discharging the FIBC be willing to open their mind to new alternatives while keeping keenly focused on the bottom line economy that comes with total process improvement. Approach the issue of how total FIBC design effects the discharge properties of dry bulk solids with a eager and open mind, and the odds are you'll find the process improvements you, and your customer's demand.
