摘要

This paper presents a lab study on the influence of coarse aggregate on the pavementrnperformance of road cement concrete. The result shows that influence degree ofrnevery technological property of coarse aggregate affect road concrete differently. Thernlithology of coarse aggregate will not lead to the obvious fluctuation of the pavementrnperformance of road concrete. The flexural tensile strength of broken pebble stonernroad concrete is 40% lower than that of crushed stone concrete. The nominalrnmaximum aggregate size of coarse aggregate has significant effect on the pavementrnperformance, and it should be no more than 26.5mm when it’s used on high levelrnroad. The decreasing amplitude of flake content to the pavement performance of roadrnconcrete is bigger than that of needle content. The crashing value of coarse aggregaternhas very significant effect on the flexural tensile strength of road concrete, so itsrncontent should be controlled.
