The IMA-SP development process identified toolsrnwere needed to perform the activities of: i) Partitioningrnand Resource Allocation and ii) System FeasibilityrnAssessment.rnThis paper describes the definition, design,rnimplementation and test of the tool support required tornperform the IMA-SP development process activities.rnThis includes the definition of a data model, withrnassociated files and file formats, describing therncomplete setup of a partitioned system and allowingrnsystem feasibility assessment; the development of arnprototype of the tool set, that is called the IMA-SPrnSystem Design Toolkit (SDT) and the demonstration ofrnthe toolkit on a case study.
