摘要

Stratification in the horizontal displacement ventilation (HDV) are studied using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and model test in the paper. The mathematical model of HDV is founded. A model test system is built up. The result shows that there also exist stratification phenomena in case of HDV, while the direction of buoyant force is vertical to that of airflow. Stratifications are affected by the location and direction of heat sources and ventilating volume.
