The purpose of this paper is to discuss the issues surrounding the early fuelingrninfrastructure development needed to support hydrogen vehicles. During thisrnphase it will be critical to understand and meet the reliability and operationalrnneeds of the end users who are putting these vehicles into their commercial fleetrnservice. It is also important to drive hydrogen fueling to low capital and operatingrncost, while continuing to advance the technology. We will demonstrate a potentialrninfrastructure build-up scenario in Large City, USA by reviewing the onsite andrncentral production options available and how these paths will support the eventualrnfueling needs of retail vehicles.
