摘要

The paper presents a parametrical study on the seismic performance of steel frames. Both moment resisting frames and eccentrically braced frames were selected for the study. Seismic performance is investigated using three performance criteria or limit states. Acceptance criteria for each limit state are given by partial q-factors, which are directly related to the level of damage in the structure. For study, a series of incremental dynamic analysis are carried out, using the Drain-3dx computer program.
