Research methodology is the most important part of a research paper. It serves as a map for conducting research and it should also be educational to readers who intend undertaking similar research. The key elements of a research paper are the statement of a clear objective, selection of the relevant methods, reporting on the results obtained through the research, drawing conclusions and making recommendations. The research method used needs to be appropriate to the nature of the problem or the kind of the subjects studied. There are some instances where many research approaches can be used to solve one problem to achieve required results.
