According to the modified model of informatization index, this paper gives the informatization index in Guangdong province from 1990 to 2004. Based on the informatization index and GDP index, this paper analyzes the impact of informatization on economic growth in Guangdong Province by the software SPSS. In the analysis, the modified model of Cobb-Douglas production function and the method of multiple linear regression analysis are used.
