摘要

L-shell X ray production cross-sections of rare earth elements have been measured for incident 0.5-3.5 MeV/uma ~(12)C~(4+) and ~(16)O~(4+) ions. Results were compared with experimental data from other authors and with theoretical predictions from the PWBA, ECPSSR, and ECPSSR+MI models. The theory ECPSSR subestimated cross-sections when compared with experimental results obtained in the present work, but ECPSSR+MI fits well to the experimental data.
