For the on-line measuring and quality control in the mechanical manufacturing process and its production, a low-cost high-benefit measuring system which can suit the market rapid change as well as small batch rpoduction must be researched as an important basic technology of agile manufactory. The new concept of agile measuring system is put forward in this paper. Its design way and engineering application are discussed as well.
