The criteria for measuring the diffuse noise of HVAC is with dB(A) or NC as represented in ASHRAE. And there are some problems in using physical parameters because their values are different and vary according to the sound sources due to the frequency characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to verify which parameter is more accurate. This study aims to compare the different types of measurement. dB(A) and NC for measuring different sound sources and to analyze the appropriate physical parameters for the evaluation of diffuse noise through subjective evaluation
