摘要

The fabrication of silicon carbide (SiC)/SiC composite by using the radiation-cured preceramic polymer process was studied. The content of the preceramic composite, required absorbed dose, and the other conditions of fabrication were examined. The fracture stress of the SiC/SiC composite was obtained 100 MPa by only single impregnation of the PCS-benzene slurry contained P-SiC powder into SiC fabrics. It was observed that, in the preparation of the preceramic composites before the irradiation, it is necessary to optimize conditions of the slurry and elimination of entrapped voids.
