摘要

This paper describes the visual simulation environment of Activity-Based Construction simulation system (ABCSS). The visual simulation environment of ABCSS gives users a user-friendly support throughout the entire simulation development process, with the provision of a visual modelign interface, icon animation, and graphic and dynamic statistics for simulation results. The ABCSS is able to model complicated construction operations without the requirement of programming. The graphical modeling approach enhanced with animation function can assist users in verification and validation of the simulation model. The graphic and dynamic statistics for simulation output provides concrete understanding or interpreting to the simulation results.
