, has been developed at the University of Michigan to oscillate at 1-GHz as well as 2-GHz. Driven by a -300 kV, 0.3-1.0 μs voltage pulse from MELBA-C, this device has generated peak powers of 44 MW and 21 MW at 1-GHz and 2-GHz, respectively, with a 0.11-0.3 T axial magnetic field.
