In this paper, an international collaborative web-based education programme, called the Internetics Scheme, is described. The aim of th Internetics scheme is to investigate the possibility and the feasibility of increasing the range of modules that we can offer to students, to allow them to learn and study in a novel way. In this paper, the experiences gained and lessons learnt from conducting this scheme are presented.
