KM is considered an important success factor in enterprise operation, however, capturing knowledge and using it across organisational boundaries is still a major challenge. Starting from a comparison of KM and BPM, the paper elaborates on methodologies for integrating enterprise modelling and KM in dynamic networked organisations. Examples of KM/BPM applications in SMEs are provided and discussed.
