Abstract: Weighted order statistic filters form an important subclass of stack filters, i.e. filters which are defined by threshold decomposition and positive Boolean function. In this paper we present an efficient algorithm based on fast conjunctive matrix transforms for converting a weighted order statistic filter into a stack filter.!7
