Study on Water Use Efficiency Indicators in Winter Wheat Irrigation

Three categories of winter wheat water use efficiency indicators in single leaf level, crop yield and economic production are synthetized. With the actual situation of the study site, WUE indicators measured by crop yield are chosen in the paper, and WUEi、 WUEa、 WUEET and WUEp0 at estuary of irrigation channel and water distribution point measured by crop yield are determined. The results show that the WUE indicators at water distribution point can reflect the actual situation of winter wheat water use for the whole irrigation area, while the WUE indicators at estuary of irrigation channel can mirror water use in fields. Under irrigation, rainfall, groundwater recharge information preparing completely, WUEET can be adopted. With incomplete or no groundwater information, WUEa at water distribution point can approximately substitute for WUEET at water distribution point. But WUEi、WUEa、 WUEET at estuary of irrigation channel and water distribution point can't be replaced by WUEPO respectively at any time.
