摘要

The paper discusses the use of a quasi-optimal correlation algorithm for constructing a two-dimensional autocorrelation function for a binary image of the studied microrelief texture of precision machined surfaces. The binary image was formed using an optical-electronic system and computer processing of halftone microrelief images. It has been established that the most informative characteristic of the microrelief of the studied surfaces that are significantly different from one another with a given probability is the average amplitude of the variable component of the autocorrelation function.
