Research on Knowledge Share among Construction Supply Chain Participant

In China, the advent of knowledge economy requires changes of traditional construction supply chain process by innovative ways. While in the time that knowledge is power, some construction companies and organization have designed and implemented Knowledge Management (hereafter (CM) with success and many researchers paid attention to KM in construction industry or among construction supply chain participants. However, there is no quantity prove of the proposition that knowledge share will improve Construction Supply Chain (hereafter CSC) integration. In proposing this perspective on the concept of knowledge share, this paper starts with the review of the formal research of construction supply chain management and KM in construction, finding that in order to develop effective knowledge share, we need to consider knowledge context. We consider the problems of supporting knowledge share between heterogeneous construction supply chain participants, which have been recognized as the critical source of innovation in them. We introduce a model for knowledge share among CSC participants by putting a context factor as a possible solution, and describe it in a mathematical model and prove it by means of system dynamic theory . We find that the proposition is right that knowledge share can improve CSC integration. Finally, based on the mathematic analysis, this pape rgives the impact factors of knowledge share.
