Stand-alone PV-Wind hybrid systems are finding applications in rural locations where utility grid is not available. To meet the power demand of such locations, these systems are envisaged to play a crucial role. This paper presents a regulated stand-alone PV-Wind hybrid system supposed to supply power for irrigation and domestic loads. The hybrid system is modeled with least number of components along with simple maximum power point controllers to ensure the reliability of supply under continuously changing environment (i.e. solar radiation and wind speed). The entire hybrid system is developed in MATLAB
