摘要

Deterioration mechanism of output power of a Ni -MH battery for HEVs has been investigated. 1. Increase in the DC-resistance after cycles is due mainly to the increase in the positive electrode resistance. 2. Migration of Al from the negative electrode increases the positive electrode resistance. Cycle performance of the D-size cell for HEVs has been largely improved by using a hydrogen-absorbing alloy with higher oxidation resistibility.
