摘要

In contrast to the largely homogeneous world of standardised CMOS processing, micro systems design encompasses a wide variety of materials, principles and physical domains. In tackling the wide ranging demands of product development, the design and simulation needs of these disparate fields need to be brought together in a streamlined and efficient manner. How we tackle this for all of the stakeholders involved requires movement toward some form of common strategy and framework. The talk will address these issues and look to a strategy for greater efficiency and interoperability.
