The paper presents the most important information system now used by Italian producers for project management and production of concrete precast elements. It is an information system developed for the automation and integration of activities affecting the duration of the order, for the co-ordination of the commercial office, technical office, production, transport and assembly, in order to optimise the use of resources and to increase the quality both of the services and the elements manufactured. The control of the order keeps all these phases under observation verifying the efficiency of the various areas and thereby reducing the time taken for the order.
