摘要

In this paper we analyze aspects of implementation on a multi-AL U DSP of a speech enhancement method for reducing acoustic noise added to speech in noisy environments. This implementation uses over-subtraction method for spectral subtraction and a modified noise reduction algorithm to eliminate residual musical noise. Real-time experiments were performed using development platform equipped with Motorola MSC8101 DSP, and stereo A/D and D/A codec. Measurements of output enhanced signal showed a better quality for enhanced speech after applying residual noise reduction and also almost complete removal of musical noise.
