In this paper, the rheology of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) latex modified cement paste (SMCP) was studied. The effects of superplasticizer (SP), shear rate, SBR latex and mineral admixtures (MAs) on the rheological performance of SMCP were researched by the Brookfield R/S Plus rheometer. The results indicate that SP has a significant influence on the rheology of SMCP. The yield stress and plastic viscosity of SMCP generally decrease with the increasing of SP quantity. The rheology of SMCP improves as SBR latex content increases gradually. With the increasing of the fly ash (FA), the yield stress of SMCP gradually increases and the plastic viscosity also increases in a certain extent. While with the gradually increasing of the granulated blast-furnace slag (GBFS) content, the yield stress and plastic viscosity of SMCP decreases, but not significantly.
