A novel optical fiber colorimetric pyrometer based on the principle of two-color thermo radiation is presented. In this system, the thermometer uses Si and InGaAs photodiode (reacting time of photodiode is less than 6ns and responsibility of it is more than 0.4μA/μW) as its sensitive components to extend the scope of temperature (300-1600℃). Pyrometer adopts micro-controller and DSP master-slaver model due to the requirement to vast data and quick response of the system. In the system, the traditional band-pass filter is replaced by wavelet filter. According to white noise having the characters of minus oddity, under the wavelet transform, which range and denseness are decreased along with increasing of measure, and change direction of which is contrary with the characteristic parameter of signal, signal is re- constructed by multi-measure wavelet transform. Experiment shows: range of temperature: 300-1600℃, resolution is 1℃, response time is 10ms.
