This paper addresses the issue of coordination agents to achieve total supply chain optimization, A so-called "coordinator" agent is introduced to coordinate other agents in the system. It uses multi-criteria decision making techniques as control mechanism to evaluate the status and performance attributes of other functional agents. The coordinated supply chain is modeled as a multi-agents system, which includes some optimization agents. The proposed system is a promising tool for companies in the global competitive environment.
