摘要

The constraints, both practical and legislative, of dredging and disposal methods in inland waterways have led to significant developments in plant and sediment treatment and disposal methods in the past 10 years. Given the fact that inland projects can vary greatly in size, location and characteristics, the need for flexibility and particularly ease of mobilisation has led to the development of highly mobile, road transportable plant designed to work in a wide range of water environments and locations. Furthermore, the increase in Health and Safety and Environmental standards and clients drive to ever lower cost has greatly influenced plant development.
