Heavy-duty grinding operations are widely applied in industry. In order to remove material as quickly and efficiently as possible, the technology of heavy-duty grinding has been developing continually. In this paper, the way in which higher efficiency and lower cost can be got is analyzed and the developing trends and advantage of modern heavy-duty grinding technology is introduced. Due to all of high speed, heavy load, huge grinding power, excellent wheel with large size, high quality grinder and more automation very high grinding efficiency can be got today.
