摘要

After the general researches and studies on "the rehabilitation project of Suleymaniye District" were finished and the project became successful in 1999, within a year time the second phase of the project was started in 2000, including the sea-side corridor between Eminonu and Sarayburnu. These first two phases of the main project were presented sequencely, in QRM 2000 and QRM 2002 conferences. Meanwhile, to start renovations and restorations on the district, it was felt that, there was a need for analitical researches and plan proposals on the scale of building-lots. To give more details on analitical researches, to make the 1/1000 macro-scale plan proposal definite and to give proper functions to buildings on the each parcels on the main project site, the third phase of the rehabilitation project of Suleymaniye District was started. Not only parcels and buildings on historical perspective and archeological findings, but also, narrow old Ottomanish streets with unique facades and courtyards of Ottomanish-Turkish houses, which give the main characteristic of the site, were analysed under different topics one by one on 1/500 and 1/200 scales.
