With the aim of advancing beyond the discourse concerning productivity and its relations to ergonomics, the present study sets out to develop a tool for measuring and enhancing productivity based on a ProMES method - Productivity Measurement and Enhancement System and an Ergonomic Work Analysis (EWA). The method ProMES will be presented and some reflections on the relations between productivity and ergonomics are made.
