The paper presents the pre-test analyses (and a comparison of predictions with test results) of the nonlinear dynamic response of a 3-storey RC structure, representative of older construction in Greece, which was pseudo-dynamically tested at the ELSA reaction wall facility of the EC Joint Research Centre in Ispra (I) in January 2004. Alternative retrofit measures, to accompany repair of the tested structure, for additional rounds of pseudo-dynamic testing are also proposed and evaluated, as a guide for the selection of the retrofitting.
