摘要

The present investigation deals with the analytical evaluation of the performance of carbon-fiber-reinforcement polymer (CFRP) laminates used for flexural strengthening of reinforcement concrete beam. The flexural strengthening of three categories of beams was considered. 3D dimensional full nonlinear model was created to illustrate the effect of CFRP laminates in strengthening of RC beams. The models were verified by experimental result reported by other researchers. The study showed that by using CFRP laminates on the flexural side of the beams the strength increased and ductility decreased.
