摘要

A steel transmission tower for electric facilities that has been constructed is to be retrofitted using a TMD at its top against a severest earthquake. The structural system for the retrofit is discussed and the procedure to find optimum parameters for TMD, spring constant and damping coefficient, is obtained based on a calculation with use of micro-computer Grid system.
