The 600MWe boiler of Yuanbaoshan power plant is the lignite boiler made in Steinmueller co.,Germany. The boiler slaggs in the region of burners, so that a great deal of research work is made. The paper presents the results of the single burner and the chamber of the boiler that are made by physical model and mathematical modelling. The reason of causing slagging is analysed and the improving method of the boiler is presented.
