摘要

This paper describes the summary of "Green-Hydrogen (G-H)" project being developed by Waseda University together with several other universities and companies, which intends to establish "G-H" based society at Honjo-Waseda area in Saitama Prefecture. The project involves three tasks of technological development of; (1) process and facility for "G-H" production, (2) facility and system for "G-H" refining, transportation and storage, and (3) utilization system of the "G-H". In the project, "G-H" will be produced from waste aluminum, silicon, and biomass which are generated in the Honjo-Waseda area, then, be refined, transported, and stored by using high-performance metal hydride, which is synthesized in hydriding combustion process, bound with silicone, and will be utilized for economically feasible fuel cell systems such as mobility, traffic, cooling, and so on.
