摘要

A novel coating system has been developed which combines the unique properties of silicone and organic coating. The result is a strong heat stable coating, applicable at low coat weights. It is well matched to applications where: 1. Flexible and durable thin-coating performance is required. 2. Space and weight considerations are important. 3. Wide temperature range exposure is required. 4. Property retention is essential after extremely long periods of storage. 5. Extreme barrier protection from liquids and or gases is required. This is a versatile chemistry that can also be applied to other coating systems, which Dow Corning has not yet fully investigated. We welcome the opportunity to discuss with suitable partners how we can work together to further develop this technology to create more novel coating materials.
