摘要

Experiments of fracturation have been performed under uniaxial compression tests on three arenite samples from iron mine of Tressange (Lorraine, France). In addition to usual mechanical parameters such as strains and axial stress, acoustical parameters such as P-wave velocity, maximum signal amplitude received (a kind of measure of the attenuation) and AE activity, have been investigated. These two independent types of measurements involve coherent results suggesting a progressive anisotropic damage leading to the failure.
