The objective of the study was to increase fruit quality of peach cv. Tropic Beauty, growing in the subtropical highlands of Thailand. A number of chemical products were applied pre-harvest to improve fruit quality of peach grown at the Chiang Mai Royal Agricultural Research Center during 2003-2004. The chemicals tested were: ReTain~®,Aminofit finishing~® and potassium chloride. The results showed that ReTain~® sprayed either once or twiceprior to harvest can delay fruit ripening and concentrate harvesting times. Both ReTain~® and Aminofit finishing~® increased fruit sizeand fruit firmness.
