摘要

This paper started with the basic feature of the Yellow River and the basic requirement of maintaining the healthy life of the Yellow River, analyzed the necessary and weightiness of silt - trapping dam construction, made clear the relationship between the silt -trapping dam and keeping the healthy life of the Yellow River, pointed out the impersonality requirement and necessity choice of concentrating the silt - trapping dam construction in the excessive and coarse silt zone of the middle reaches of the Yellow River, advanced the approaches of choosing the small watersheds in the key branches and building silt — trapping dam system. By practical analysis, the authors also put forward the bright views such as bring the silt - trapping dam construction in the excessive and coarse silt zone of the middle reaches of the Yellow River into the whole stratagem system of the training and development of the Yellow River, setting the consciousness of arresting silt as the first task, recognizing the research of silting coarse and flushing fine, reinforcing the self- rehabilitation of ecosystem etc.
