The Road Patrolling Support System has been developed for standardization, sophisticationrnand greater efficiency in road patrolling by the Kanto Regional Development Bureau.rnTaking advantage of the latest in information technology including mobile computing, GPSrnand wireless communication, the system has become fully operational at all of its offices.rnAlso, the Road Patrolling Manual has been published for definition and standardization ofrnthe entire road patrolling workflow. These efforts have led to standardization,rnsophistication and greater efficiency in the operation, as well as improvement in safetyrnmeasures and in services to local citizens.
