摘要

The vision adopted for the Okayama Regional ITS Medium-Range Plan (2003 - 2005) isrn"user-friendly, reliable, and comfortable assistance for anyone's mobility". Based on this vision,rnthe Okayama region is working to achieve an "integrated information service" supporting thernsafe and comfortable mobility of all people.rnThe goal is to facilitate traffic flow and build a good transportation environment by integratingrnand comprehensively providing different types of information that until now have beenrnprepared and provided separately.rnThis paper reports the results of efforts to build a prototype system that will realize an integratedrninformation service. The paper further examines its effectiveness and the issues related tornsustained operation of such an integrated information service based on an evaluation of thernservice in a proving test.
