Cordyceps longissima Kobaysai, collected from Huoshan county fo Anhui province, was reported as a new record in China. A species of Hirsutella isolated from C. longissima was determined to be its anamorph. The typical characteristics ofthe fungus were descibed. SOme immature dtromata formed on artificial culture. Their shape and color were similar to those of natural stromata.
