Good Morning I am Bob Donaldson and I have the pleasure of being the Chair this year. This year's topic is "The Challenges of Coal Injection in Today's blast furnaces". This subject is very timely for many companies and we have a huge spectrum here. We have companies running 250 kilograms/tonne, companies running 0 and several companies installing new technology. While I was reading about this, I wondered about the word symposium and whether or not this event will qualify. A symposium is a gathering of experts in a field for discussion and we definitely have several experts here to discuss the field of PCI. Also symposium comes from the Greek word sym and posis, sym means a gathering and posis means drinking and you put them together and symposium is an after dinner drinking party. So later-on, tonight, we will have an after dinner drinking party, so at that point we can discuss the happenings of today.
