摘要

In this paper, filtration erosion tests for coarse grained soils with different grading are performed using large scale permeameter to investigate the influence factors on seepage failure. The effects of the coefficient of uniformity, the fine grain content and dry density of the soil on the critical hydraulic gradient are studied. The test results illustrate that the critical hydraulic gradient is increased with the increase in the fine grain content and the dry density, but a little decrease with the increase in the coefficient of uniformity of the soil.
