This paper investigates a charging schedule optimization problem of electric bus charging station. From the prospect of optimal schedule of electric buses, the demand response potential of electric buses is analysed and a simulation method of electric buses is proposed. According to the generated rechargeable time intervals, a demand response model of electric bus charging station is established. After that, a charging schedule optimization model of electric bus charging station which embedded in proposed demand response model of electric bus station is built to minimize the charging cost. Finally, proposed method is verified through case study. The results show that the proposed method is valid and is able to provide strong support for operation and demand response potential ability analysis of one electric bus route.
