摘要

The utilization of the swelling method to reclaim industrial coated fabrics is significant for the environmental protection and manufacturing of coated fabrics. In this work, an aqueous methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) blend was used as swelling agent to recycle polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coated polyester fabrics. The properties of the swelling agent are of vital importance to the process. The paper focuses on the investigation of the swelling agent properties, such as the phase separation of the swelling agent, and solubility properties. The performance of the swelling agent influences the swelling properties. This research provides theoretical parameters and results to the recycling propess of PVC coated fabrics.
