Objective: To study the variation of CD14+ monocyte Toll-like receptor 2 and 4 before and after prolonged treadmill running.Methods:12 endurance trained male college students had blood samples taken before and after 1.5h of running, and the expression of TLR2 and TLR4 on CD14+ monocyte were analysed using flow ctyometry. Results: After running, the expression of TLR2 slightly decreased after running (p>0.05), the expression of TLR4 decreased significantly (p <0.05).Conclusion: Prolonged running reduces TLR4 significantly, which may be associated with postexercise immunodepression.
